Les 9 comprises 8 cellos and 1 double bass. My goal in creating this ensemble is to surprise listeners with the expressive richness of the cello. To me, the main beauty of an ensemble made up of cellos is to find the compatibility  – indeed, the consonance – amongst our differences.
